Elegance of Luxury

Rock ‘n’ Roll Wednesday

The summer festival season has just started. For those who are probably already familiar with dress codes for summer festivals, you probably know that no matter what summer festival you go to, the standard fashion guidelines do not apply.

For this occasion, I went with a rock/edgy festival look. I picked a pleated short dress in black and I wanted to combine some of the latest trends together with comfort and practicality.

The pleated black dress from Front Row Shop brings an edgy touch through nice clean lines and pockets on the side of the dress. With a slight breeze, the front pleats of the dress blow up and create an extra special unique vibe for the outfit.

Front Row Shop combines a contemporary with sustainability. The two designers from Rome and Shanghai take and combine inspiration from different cultures, mixed with avant-garde and seasonal trends. The brand grew tremendously in the last few years, and today its products can be found in high-end department stores, smaller boutiques and also online. The constant strive toward perfection and research of new fabric and how to be more sustainable, season after season bring freshness into their collections.

What I like particularly about Front Row Shop is its uniqueness. They are constantly on the border of trendy, modern edgy enhancing their pieces with artistic clean cuts styling. Front Row Shop is a brand that you should definitely check if you seek unique pieces of clothing.

I would suggest this pleated short dress to anybody who is searching for a structured dress, in such a way that it makes a statement. The pleated black dress stole the show and I only had to add minimal accessories. My oversized black sunglasses from H&M and Chanel silver studs subtly enhanced the modern edgy structure of the look.

Pairing the pleated black dress was pretty easy. When playing with an edgy style it’s important to add small but sharp contrasts, like for example my spiked bracelets.

For an edgy look, I usually go with ankle boots as they always blend well together. Trust me, you need to try it by yourself. In my case, I’m wearing Primadonna ankle leather boots that are super comfortable and soft on the touch. How do you pair ankle leather boots?
