Elegance of Luxury

Red Lights

So, the holiday season is officially here. Just before I start panicking after realizing that I still need to gather all the presents for friends and family, let’s try and focus on a more pleasant aspect of the holiday season, the festive formal attire for Christmas parties!

For many companies out there, a company Christmas party is a must have event where everybody is invited to have some fun. From a small company with only a few employees to a big hundred person event.

Here is my take on a company Christmas party look, pairing my cable knitted sweater with a Motivi black tulle skirt that instantly sets a Christmassy mood. This black tulle skirt comes with a lining underneath and is suitable as festive formal attire, creating a blend between classic and elegant. A black tulle skirt easily matches all kinds of tops, even blazers and jackets. It really works great for all seasons and I would recommend investing in at least one pair.

It’s getting colder and colder here in the Mediterranean. Luckily, we usually have quite good weather and the winters are usually not too harsh.

Depending on where you live and how hard the winters are there, get yourself a long plaid coat and a pair of warm tights. I am going to be honest with you, if the temperature drops too much I wouldn’t wear a lighter long plaid coat, but something a bit warmer when it’s freezing cold out there. In general, these types of coats aren’t too heavy but neither too light, they’re very comfortable during the warmer winter days. Pair your long plaid coat with ankle boot heels of your liking.

To complete your look, add a stackable ring set. In my case, I used four silver stackable rings, a Calvin Klein dress watch and a pair of FREYRS retro sunnies to add a little touch of a street style vibe.

How do you feel about a black tulle skirt for festive formal attire? Would you wear it to a company Christmas party? Let me know your opinion in the comments below.
