Decorating a house in anticipation of Christmas can be a nerve racking process or a pleasant experience. Here I am bringing you some indoor Christmas decor ideas that helped me to set up a simple Christmas centerpiece.

The holidays are a really stressful and very busy time of the year. There are a lot of things to do, a lot of presents to buy, a big Christmas tree to decorate, coming up with interesting indoor Christmas decor ideas & ideas for Christmas table decorations, visiting family, and so on. Nevertheless, I love the Christmas holidays, and even the last minute Christmas shopping (even though I try not to do it anymore). I think that is essential to relax and balance our busy schedule with all the duties we have to fulfill.

A favorite way of spending my holidays is by visiting my parents, and this year wasn’t an exception. Usually, my parents (especially my mum) think about simple yet stylish indoor Christmas decor ideas and come up with an elegant Christmas table setting. But, not this time, this year was an exception. My mum took a break from setting the centerpiece and let me do it. She gave me some basic guidelines and requested a simple Christmas centerpiece without too many details on the table. I am super excited to share with you how setting the elegant Christmas table setting went and the lovely festive atmosphere from my house.

Many of you probably decorate your tables using a big centerpiece or a table runner, which are already proven traditional ways of setting up your Christmas table. Nothing wrong with it, but today I am going to try using pine branches and pinecones for a more natural-looking simple Christmas centerpiece. I placed accordingly small bauble ornaments and candles around the branches for added decoration. If you want to achieve more of a natural looking elegant Christmas table setting the easiest way is to get a big and voluminous longer pine branch. It will save you a ton of time, believe me.
Use candles. The light of the candles makes the atmosphere cozy, while the Christmas decor lit by the flame of candles creates a perfect winter wonderland feeling and atmosphere.

Later, together with mum, I moved on to adding small lamps on a Christmas tree and adding some extra touches to it. It is a great way to spend some more time together.
