Monochrome Explosion

A lot of the streetwear looks that I’m lately inspired by come with a print in some form. Mostly floral, bands, or animal prints but I also noticed that a simple printed fashion tee has been gaining in popularity.

Librastyle has so much variety of trendy tees, that I had a hard time choosing which one to pick. Apart from the recent passing trend where many people wear a popular music band tee, I thought about going with a fashion tee and rock it out in my own way. Librastyle is a small family-run business and their tees are all Made in Italy, in local production studios. The brand advocates for a more ecological and ethical conscious approach to waste, using locally sourced materials.

This daytime monochromatic look is a blend of trendy and casual wear. For the top of this look, I picked this Librastyle tee that is just as I wanted it to be. It features a print of the style icon Lise Fonssagrives. It was pleasantly surprised to see Lisa Fonssagrives between the possibilities of prints to pick from. She was a Swedish fashion model who is considered to be the first supermodel.

Needless to say I had to have it, as I feel this fashion tee is a great wardrobe staple and at the same time showcases a very important moment in the fashion world. And I love that the brand uses a breathable light fabric which is perfect for this warm Mediterranean climte. The tee itself is casual loose fitting.
