Amber by Prada – One of the Richest Spicy Scents From My Collection

Every autumn season, we witness a spectacular array of vibrant colors from rich oranges to deep burgundy reds. Autumn is a perfect time to introduce fuller and deeper fall-winter perfumes into your collection. One of my recent finds, and definitely one of the richest and strongest spicy scents from my collection, is the oriental Amber Eau de Parfum Spray by Prada.

Originally created by Carlos Benaim, Max Gavarry and Clement Gavarry, the scent captures the true essence of Prada. The amber, which is a combination of ingredients such as patchouli, vanilla and sandalwood, describes a warm, somewhat sweet and spicy scent best worn in winter.

I would recommend this radiant fragrance to all lovers of classic, warm oriental spicy perfumes which contain strong notes of cinnamon, cloves and wood.

But what is an oriental fragrance? Oriental is a historical reference to a category of fragrances that are known for their sensual notes. Oriental spicy perfumes smell indulgent due to the use of more exotic notes.

Amber by Prada is a long lasting fragrance with a sophisticated looking metal casing as the perfume bottle. The perfume is compact and easy to carry with you, even in your smallest bag, if you ever need a small touch up. When wearing the perfume it lasted over half a day. It’s one of the longest lasting fragrances that I currently own.

The perfume opens with top notes which bring out the freshness gradually mellowing out allowing the base notes, particularly the amber, to introduce you to the world of Amber by Prada.

Top notes: Tarragon, Bergamot, Green Notes and Fruity Notes.
Middle notes: Honey, Carnation, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine and Rose.
Base notes: Patchouli, Amber, Benzoin, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Oakmoss and Musk.

Reminiscent of other oriental spicy perfumes such as Opium by Yves Saint Laurent or Black Orchid by Tom Ford, Amber by Prada will definitely leave a lasting warm and cozy impression and leave people speechless whenever you enter a room.

With a wide variety of spicy scents, I encourage you to test and discover a special and irresistible unique fragrance, one that perfectly describes your own persona.

  1. il packaging è davvero carino! comunque io non ho un profumo preferito, mi piace averne tanti e poter cambiare ( adoro soprattutto quelli di cavalli!)

  2. That is a beautiful case for perfume! I don't really wear fragrances, but as of late, I've been pretty tempted.

  3. Non conosco questo profumo, mentre sono infatuata di Infusion d'Iris di Prada. Per l'Autunno però preferisco Burberry Classic. Ciao a presto cara :-xxx Coco
